The Challenge
The Danish department store Magasin had a wish to become even more relevant for the younger segment of their more than 700.000 members of the loyalty club Magasin Goodie, as well as recruit even more new young members
The Solution
We developed a versatile activation platform, Goodie Sessions, and launched it with a special NFT event featuring the up-and-coming Danish rapper FVN for specially invited guests. The unique aspect was that FVN's unreleased single will never be released, it only exists as an NFT. And the NFT came with a specially designed piece of jewelry in a collab between the rapper herself and the famous Danish jewelry designer Vibe Harsløf.
In this way, everyone at the event got both a unique experience and a unique NFT with the release of FVN's single, which ensured Magasin both PR coverage and relevant and exciting content for their own channels, as well as a good starting point for future innovative activities specially developed for their young audience and members of Magasin Goodie.
The Results
Relevant PR reach before the launch and more than 8000 Goodie members attempted to win tickets to the event. The total number of Goodie members is 700,000. Furthermore, Magasin continued to drive traffic to the download of the NFT. More than 60% of the exclusive NFT series have been sold.
